Last updated: 3 November 2026
This policy explains what personal information Enterprise Construction & Management Ltd ("ECM", "we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We handle your information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
ECM is the data controller for the information you share through this website.

What we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of enquiry and the project details you write.
- When you chat with us on WhatsApp: the messages you choose to send, along with your WhatsApp name and phone number.
- When you email or call us: the details you share in that conversation.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To prepare proposals, quotations and agreements you ask for.
- To keep a record of our communication with you.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and on taking steps you request before entering into a contract. We will not send you marketing messages unless you agree to receive them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run this website and communicate with you:
- Netlify hosts this website and delivers enquiry form submissions to us.
- Google provides the map on our contact section and the fonts on this website. Loading them shares your device's IP address with Google.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any messages you send us through WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
We may also share information where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 allows for such transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if we work together, for the duration of the project and any period the law requires afterwards. We then delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you.
Information stored on your device
This website remembers two small settings in your browser so it works the way you left it: whether you turned the sound on or off, and whether the chat prompt has already been shown during your visit. These settings stay on your device and are not used to track you.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave us;
- send your information to you or another organisation in a commonly used format.
To make a request, email ecmng@ecmng.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
How we protect it
This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to enquiry details to the people at ECM who need them to respond to you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
